If Thea did write the manuscript instead of Lovborg then wouldn't she be a very smart woman?
If she is so smart why would she let Hedda control her? If she where the woman with the power and control in this play wouldn't she be smart enough to avoid Hedda's trickery? I think it was pretty obvious of what Hedda was doing. If someone was that awful to you in school why would you befriend then after a few poorly told lies? I don't know whether to think she is a genius or an idiot.

Just something I found

Here is the translation
Panel 1: -The teacher said we have to finish reading "Hedda Gabler" before Monday.
-I finished it!
Panel 2: -A very exciting book! Cookies?
Nat thinking:"Damn, Lydia finishes her homework quickly"
Panel 3: -How does it end anyway?
-Well...I saw the movie. Judge Brack starts pressuring Hedda and she shoots herself.
Panel 4: -What?! But she was so cool in the beginning! I'm so dissapointed! If I was her...
Panel 5: -...I'd shoot judge Brack.
Panel 6: -Then chase Tesman and the maid out of the house...
Panel 7: -...burn madam Elvsted's hair... *Ibsen is turning in his grave*
Panel 8: -...and find myself a new man!
-Whoa...The teacher would probably be impressed that you are so involved in the story...

OMG I lOVE HEDDA!!!!
She is so horrible!!!! She is one of those characters where your intrigued and disgusted by her at the same time. She is so manipulative and fake which makes her a great character. I love how at the end she started mimicking Tesman. It was excellent!!! It just seemed so sarcastic. And how she kept playing with Thea's hair in a sort of friendly manner. Then she killed herself and you knew she was going to do it but, everyone around her had no clue. She is so sick! That last act was wonderful!!!
